Woodensley and Woodensly were born into incredibly difficult circumstances. Their mother, Roseberline, was just eighteen years old and facing extreme poverty, rejection, and homelessness when the twins were born. With no family support and nowhere to turn, their earliest days were shaped by survival rather than safety.
Their story took a hopeful turn when caring neighbors and Haiti ARISE staff learned of their situation. After careful assessment and with their mother’s full consent, the twins were welcomed into the Children’s Village.
Today, Woodensley and Woodensly are surrounded by love, stability, and belonging as part of the Venel family. Their lives now tell a story of rescue, restoration, and hope—proof that when a community steps in, everything can change.
