Leens Georgio was named after George Gauvin, the hospital in Grand-Goâve where he was found abandoned at just two weeks old. The nurses who discovered him immediately reached out to us, knowing he needed a safe place to grow and thrive.
Though his mother was never found, Leens found a family at ARISE Children’s Village. In June 2017, he was welcomed into a loving home, he is cared for with dedication and warmth.
Today, Leens Georgio is a happy, healthy, and thriving boy—a living reminder that every child deserves a second chance.
