My Story

Dailove was born under heartbreaking circumstances. After delivering twins—Dailove and her brother—her mother became severely anemic and struggled to breathe. With no money for medical care, the family watched helplessly as she passed away just one week later. Despite his limited means, Dailove’s father tried to care for her on his own. But within three months, her condition worsened dramatically. She was severely malnourished and so weak she couldn’t even drink from a bottle. A local pastor connected to Haiti ARISE saw the urgency of the situation and reached out for help. When our team arrived, they found Dailove barely clinging to life. She and her older sister Chilove were brought to ARISE Children’s Village, where Dailove received immediate medical attention and life-saving care.

Today, she is thriving—healthy, joyful, and deeply loved in the care of the Fenelon family. Her life is a miracle, and her future is full of hope.
