My Story

Kelly Lherisson’s life began with hardship. His mother separated from his father when Kelly was just a baby, leaving him in his father’s care in Port-au-Prince. But in 2023, his father abandoned him as well, choosing to roam the streets. According to community reports, the father had become involved with gangs, leaving Kelly alone and vulnerable in the neighborhood.

​One day, an aunt passing by found Kelly on the street. Heartbroken at his situation, she took him to his grandfather, who lives in the commune of Les Cayes. Since then, Kelly has been staying with his elderly grandfather, who loves him dearly but struggles to care for him because of his age.

Now, Kelly has been welcomed into a place of safety and care, where he can grow up with stability, love, and the hope of a brighter future.
